Important information for clients

Why shouldn't I accept "let's work off-platform" offers?

ProjeKurdu keeps you safe as long as you work with the expert through the site. We recommend not accepting offers to work outside ProjeKurdu, and working instead with reliable experts who use the platform regularly and have positive reviews. Please share with us any expert who suggests working off-platform.

What is the Secure Project Platform (GPP) and how does it protect me?

The Secure Project Platform is a safe working environment that protects your payment. You move the agreed amount from your wallet into escrow, where it is held under ProjeKurdu's guarantee until you receive and approve the work. Once you approve it, the payment is released to the expert. This way you pay as the work is completed, without the risk of paying up front.

Can I split the project into milestones?

Yes. You can divide the project into milestones and set a separate amount for each. We recommend this for larger jobs: instead of paying the whole amount at once, you pay as each milestone is completed. If you are not satisfied with a milestone, you can escalate it to ProjeKurdu with the "Report a Dispute" button.

What should I pay attention to for my project to be published?

Every project is reviewed by ProjeKurdu before it is published, and you receive an approval or rejection. A few tips:

  • Write the project brief in detail, leaving no open questions.
  • If you don't want it public, post it as "Private" or "Invite only" so that only the experts you choose can see it and bid.
  • Illegal or unethical content is not accepted.
  • The project must be a real work request; job vacancies or listings to sell/rent goods or services are rejected.
  • Adding images and documents that describe the project improves the quality of the bids you receive.
What should I consider when choosing an expert?

First review the expert's profile in detail: completed projects, reviews and ratings, portfolio and skills. If you are considering a newly registered expert with no reviews yet, examine their profile and portfolio carefully. A strong profile, high ratings and positive reviews are important selection criteria.

What is the benefit of signing a contract with the expert?

The Secure Project Platform protects your payment; even so, to also protect your work legally we recommend signing a contract with the expert before you start. Contact us for support on contracts or legal matters.

Why is it important to communicate through the site?

We recommend not moving communication or the project process off ProjeKurdu by sharing details such as phone or email. Messages exchanged through the system can serve as records and evidence in the event of a dispute. Members found to be working off-platform are subject to the membership agreement.

What should I do if I have a dispute with the expert?

First, try to reach a solution in good faith. If that fails, you can report the situation to ProjeKurdu with the "Report a Dispute" button. Both sides are contacted; if no resolution is reached, the relevant amount is refunded to your wallet after the service fee is deducted.

Why is it important to review and rate the expert?

Clients review ratings and comments before choosing an expert. By leaving a review and rating after your project, you provide a reference for those who work with the same expert after you and contribute to the platform's quality.

What should I consider when evaluating bids?

Compare the bids you receive and prioritise experts with high ratings and positive reviews. Don't hesitate to politely decline bids you won't work with; feedback is useful for both sides.

Can I invite experts I like to my project?

Yes. You can find experts on the search page and send them a bid invitation. You can reach as many experts as you like this way.
